Life Fitness 4000 repeatedly blows outlet circuit breaker
I have a Life Fitness 4000 that is about 10 years old. This evening my kid were playing with it and a large exercise ball got wedged underneath the treadmill. I saw some sparks and the treadmill came to a stop. I noticed that the fuse for the outlets in the basement had blown. I reset the breaker, unplugged the treadmill, plugged it back in, and then turned the power switch from off to on. The outlet fuse immediate blew. I tried to reset 2 more times with the same result. Is there a fuse in the treadmill that may need to be replaced?

If there was a fuse in the treadmill it certainly wouldn't cause your main circuit breaker to blow. It sounds like the motor burnt out and shorted- which is causing your house circuit breaker to blow. There is a chance that the ball caused some other damage that is creating the short but my bet is on a burnt out motor. You would need to disassemble the unit and test for short circuits to verify.
