Lifefitness TR 9000 treadmill.
My treadmill keeps coming up with the error - Incline Control Error on the display board when I turn it on. When I press the arrows for the deck to incline, the treadmill makes a noise like the incline motor is working but the deck does not incline or move. The incline display on the console works with up/down arrows but the deck does not move, although the incline motor makes a noise like it's working. What do you think would be the cause for this error to be showing and the incline not working. Please help. Thanks in advance Sue

Because you are hearing the lift motor making a noise, it sounds like the gears in the motor are bad. The fix is to replace the lift motor.
