The GKM531RA comes with a USB dongle which is connected to the computer.
Since you mentioned that the batteries are okay. Locate the small button on the dongle (connect button) and look for the connect button underneath the mouse.
Hold the connect button at the same time for 5 seconds ONLY, and release them both. The mouse should work.
If that did not help, try to use the keyboard and mouse in a different computer.
Last, contact IOGEAR and have them RMA the device. Meaning that the mouse has a hardware defect.
