LiquidVideo L17LCD2 17 in. Flat Panel LCD Monitor - Power Issues
I've owned a LV L17LCD2 17 in. monitor for a few years now. Worked fine until recent months where I've had a few issues. For quite some time the screen would "lock up" occasionally, requiring a reboot of my system. I assumed it was PC related and not the monitor. However, most recently when the PC would go into "powersave" mode -- upon returning to the PC, the monitor would power back on briefly (from amber (rest) to blue light (active); then completely black out (blue light still lit). This would require that I turn the monitor "on and off" slowly but repeatedly until the screen would display properly and work on the PC could be continued. I've done this for several weeks now. I recently changed the "Power Settings" in XP by disabling "power save" and using "screen saver" only. In other words, not allowing the monitor to power off. This remedied the problem briefly.

Yesterday, as I was working on said PC, the monitor display blacked out. It has never done this before, only when PC comes out of power save. I attempted to reset the monitor (power on/off) to no avail. When powered on, the blue power light blinks that coincides with the monitor display "flashing" (from desktop image to black out). Apparently, I have power related issues with the monitor but I'm not terribly sure os specifics.

Perhaps someone with LCD experience has an idea?

I have tried different power cords and connection cables to no avail.

I'd be genuinely grateful for any information you have with respect to my issue.
