Little Giant 506065 - 2 did not work after 21 days, different pump better?
I tried two of these, both worked for 21 day and then kept going on an off, I unplugged to prevent motor burnout. Is there a better brand or model for a basement utility sink?

Are you running these pumps full-time, even if they're dry? If you are, that's far beyond their design. The sink should drain into a sump or cistern, then the pump should empty the cistern on demand from a float switch.
I don't know of any pump except possibly a bellows-type bilge pump, that can be expected to run full-time, even when dry.
Hi - I tried to reply but my reply went in as a testamonial. Can you access it or should i retype?
Yep, I can see that - I get those all the time. 8) I think I understand now - you have a "Drainosaur" kit, am I right? Dare I ask what sort of thing you're pouring down that utility sink? The 506065 does have its own internal float switch, so it shouldn't be running full-time. If it's pumping awfully thick stuff, though, or if it's pumping it awfully high above the pump (exceeding its "head" rating) or over a great horizontal distance, then that job may just be a bit too much for that pump & you'd need to find a heavier-built pump.
