Live chat hi fellow fixya experts i have a general question regarding the live chat when i recieve the chat request it takes almost 30 to 40 seconds before it pops up on the screen what can i do to try to resolve this best regards mike

Im assuming your talking about fixya's live chat and that when you click on a chat request your browser takes 30-40 seconds to load so you can accept the request, but by then its already taken.
Make sure you browser has no toolbars or addons running that are completely unnessesary. For internet explorer right click anywhere on top (near the address bar, but not on the address bar) so that it shows you "lock toolbar", links or bookmarks etc etc...Then uncheck all toolbars or anything that seems out of the ordinary, then go uninstall it from add/remove programs in control panel, that should speed things up.
Also you should try a general system clean up, and do a disk drag, using disk defragmenter (start>programs>accessories>system tools>disk defragmenter) Defrag your C drive.
Use firefox instead..it should open it instead as long as you have it as your default browser, it will asking about becoming the default one at first startup.
