Hey adam, maybe try a zip-tie to hold it tight around the fitting, or maybe a drop of superglue on the stem and then push the hose on and hold it until the glue sets up. And the again you could just trim the hose back(if long enough) and reconnect. Or just replace the hose entirely! Cheers!
