Locking up, keys beep but nothing else
I have two intermecs PM4i with the same issue. This is an intermittent problem, both have hardwired NIC cards. Basically they lock up, pressing any key, menu buttons/feed button gives and audiable beep but nothing else, no feed, no menu, nothing.
Then its a matter of a few power downs to get them to respond again. I do have support but do not find them very forthcoming as this is an intermittent issue.
Is there any known issues?

Hi, i'd download the latest firmware from intermec, this is really easy to do.... Ive had many weird firmware issues with intermecs over the years!! Also if u have a paralell port..try a machine on that to see if the same errors occurr ( if they don't...may be looking at pcb, but its unusual to get two machines with identical faults), please try the firmware.
