Looking for ''Culligan soft-minder meter'' (part# 01-0073-47) for a 1998 Culligan Mark 100 water softner. I believe the turbine is no longer moving as the meter does not count down. What does the part cost? Where available? Can I install myself with ordinary tools? Thank you

It could be the meter assembly itself. This is the old style with the clear meter dial on the timer mechanism. There were several issues with this meter assembly. You can take the valve off and take it to your Culligan dealer for a "bench test". Also check the meter cable in back of meter assembly. It may have come apart. These parts are only available from Culligan.
