Loose DC Power Jack - How Can I Fix This?
I have only had this notebook for 9 months and the female DC power jack is very very loose. It's acting like it's about to break off the motherboard. I can solder, but need a service manual or some other instructions on taking about this notebook or any other guidance recommendations.

I had same problem. I sent my vaio to sony and they said that they can repair it for something like 900$.. You can find spare part on net for about 15$ and do it yourself :)
If its under Warranty have it fixed
otherwise replace the motherboard try an repair exchange place its cheaper
finding motherboard parts is very difficult
