LOOSE FIXTURE Thehome I'm renting has a Grohe 33-755 High Profile kitchen faucet (installed in akitchen redo 5 months ago) The entire unit has become very loose and wobbly. I'm afraid that what ever keeps the unit snuggly in place has comeundone. Thesink is very deep and I have limited access underneath the unit, but to thebest of my knowledge, there is no fastening nut beneath the unit. I was toldthat there may be a special tool provided by Grohe that tightens the unit fromthe top. Is thistrue? How can I tighten? My land lord is of no help!
Unfortunately you cannot tighten the faucet from the top. you will need a 1/2" extended socket (the type for car repairs) and you will need to tighten it from underneath using an extension bar.
