Lorex H 264 16 Ch Digital Video Recording is making humming noise which starts slow, accerates and than stops. The cycle of the noise is repeated over and over. Any suggestions?

Tdhis is very common in dvrs, for the most part its the HD. you might have to get ready for a replacement. make sure you keep any important information backed up, because at some point it might happen.
by the way is easy and inexpensive to replace a HD. just some DIY. if you are up for it. just saying. (of course do it at your own discretion)
