LOSS OF PICTURE - NO SIGNAL
Hi, son playing xbox last night and picture colour appeared slightly red. Turned off console but now cannot get any picture at all - just says no signal. Checked TV which is fine. No red rings displayed on console, still green & I can hear it starting up. Any ideas please??

Check to make sure the A/V cable is completely plugged into the console. If you are using the HD A/V cable then make sure the switch is in the correct position. Finally, if possible try another A/V cable just to make sure.
If it still does not work then you have a cold solder joint in the GPU. This almost always requires a reflow to the GPU to reball the solder joints. This can be accomplished using a heat gun or oven, and the success rate is actually pretty good. The problem is these fixes do not last. The only lasting fix is to use a rework station and professionally reball the solder joints.
