Lost CPU Link
We just changed servers from unix to linux and we have been getting this message Lost CPU Link, Enter Key to RST. I do this and it starts back up then it stops again with this message. I did a label run and it did this 5 times and the last time the printing went off.

The "CPU Lost Link" error can be indicated if there is something disrupting the printer. If the printer is connected via the parallel interface it is worth disabling bi-directional communication which can cause problems.
I would recommend turning off the parallel interface bi-directional communication.
This can be done in the following way;
• Set the printer to Offline.
• Press the Menu key:
• Press any Arrow key until display shows Config Menu.
• Press the Enter key.
• Press any Arrow key until display shows Parallel I/O.
• Press the Enter key.
• Press any Arrow key until display shows Bi-Directional.
• Press the Enter key.
• Press any Arrow key until display shows Off.
• Press the Enter key and the interface will be set.
• Press the Clear key to exit the menu, you would then need to save the configuration change prevent it being lost when the printer is powered OFF.
If the problem persists, check the following;
Check the data cables for damage
Check for external causes of electrical interferance
Check the device type / driver selected on the Linux box
Consider updating the firmware in the printer
