As for hooking it up you just take them RCA plugs and plug them into an input on your TV or VCR and adjust the TV or VCR for that input and it will play.
Hope this helps you. I looked for a long time and could not locate the manual for this. Given the age and the nature of this game it is not surprising that the manual is not readily available on the net.
Ok, I can tell you about the plugs. The red and white are audio. The Yellow is the video. If you hooked this into your Wii and had the same settings that makes your Wii work (on your TV) then it would seem the video output on the game (Yellow cord) has a bad tip or a crack in the wire. If you are soldiering savvy you can buy a new single yellow AV cord and cut the yip off of it, remove the screws from the bottom of the game, splice the wire a bit, and soldier it in and it will work again.
Hope that helped a bit.
Regards, Tony

If you plugged all three cords into the VCR as color coded use this tip. Run the cords from the game to the back of the VCR (Input). Now you want to run a set of AV cords from the back of the VCR (Output) to an Input on the TV. Now turn the TV to that input either through the menu or by the channels. If the VCR does not have 3 spots for the RCA cord from the game and only has two the use the yellow to the Yellow (video) and plug either of the two remaining tips (red or white) into the VCR input left (by the yellow wire.) Make sure to have the VCR on and set the VCR to the Input you have the game cords running too. You will be able to see the Input/Output numbers on the back of the TV/VCR as the are labeled. Hope this helps too.
