Had a basic Ubuntu set into HP Compaq nc6120 laptop, had wireless working for five months, then had opportunity to download 11.10, mid October, 2011. One week later, wireless message on computer indicated that "wireless is disabled by hardware switch". Wireless access is not working at home, or at coffee shop.
