Loud buzzing when trying to start car emergency flashers no start
Car was driving fine. After I went shopping, I put the key in barely turned it past the first position and a LOUD buzzing noise started from under the hood , the emergency flashers flashed without engaging the flasher button, all the warning lights on the dash lit up. I turned the key off and the only thing that stopped was the dash warning lights. Everything else just kept going! The automatic door locks no longer worked. After awhile, the loud buzzing played out. When I inserted the key and turned it, nothing happens except all the dash warning lights light up and the emergency flashers just keep flashing. Battery is fine...fuses..fine...

This is not a battery fault but i do feel you will have to call the dealer and have it towed in ,either the built in factory alarm is playing up or the ECU (computer) has developed a brainstorm ,Only one thing you can do and thats to disconnect the battery and join the + and - cables together for 10 mins to discharge the capacitors so any electrics loose their memory,if that doesnt work then you are at the mercy of the infamous milk the golden cow dealer network .
Hi, How old is the battery in your vehicle? Your starting problem sounds like a bad connection at the battery from the info provided. Are you able to measure the battery voltage? If so, what was the voltage reading? Are all battery terminals clean and tight? How old is the battery? Please respond answers to the previous questions, to help me help your problem. Thanks.
How many miles are on this vehicle? Does the vehicle crank when the starter is jumped at the terminals??
That is a factory alarm going off that had probably been dormant for a while and now it is activated.
Pls tell me the year model and I will try to provide you with a schematic diagram and possibly how to fix the problem.
