Loud humming sound
I am about to purchase a car that has an aftermarket MD-1040CMX Car DVD Player installed. When opening and closing the doors to the car, the video makes a weird, loud, humming noise. The video player works fine and the dealership indicated to me that the company that installed this unit stated that the wretched sound that it makes when opening and closing the doors to the car is normal. I can't imagine that a company would make an item that would make a sound like this.
Is this normal for a unit like this? Could there be a worng connection? I would appreciate any answers. Thanks, Bill - New York

Hi not a chance any body makes a system like this its picking up feedback some where in the system does this happen on all doors or just one or front doors only and are the speakers in the doors as if its all doors i would put a surpressior on the radio as it is picking sigals up off the other electrical wiring in the car if they are going to blantley lie over a simple thing like this be carefull buying anything of these people yates210456
