Loud noise When I turn mine on...its really loud.so loud I have to turn it right off again, or it will wake my little girl. If i put a litttle weight on the top it goes away! Why is it making noise? what can I do to stop it??

Try checking the pick up tube that spins from the motor to the resivoir. If this is not seated properly or off balance even just a bit, it can cause your humidifier to sound like a small waterfall. Hope this helps
