After turning the receiver and transmitter on, there's only loud static and none of the LED lights on the right side of the receiver come on. This has happened on/off during the last two weeks. It's either all static or it works fine. I've checked connections and have tried new batteries even though the low battery light was not on, but the static continued even with a new battery.
