If this is a heat pump it should either be low on freon or problem with airflow over outdoorcoil. (like a fan that failed or really dirty coil) PLEASE keep in mind if this is your first year with a heatpump instead of a furnace it does blow air out MUCH colder than a gas furnace or boiler.
