Low sound an hum from turntable with cobra tone arm 1955 wurlitzer but when another source is plugged in to aux in works fine. What could be causing this? Changed all the caps in this unit

Hi, I believe I know what's causing this-It sounds to me like you have an open ground somewhere between your cartridge and amp. A headphone cord should make an acceptable substitute for the original wire if exact replacement is unavailable. I have heard many a hum in my day.
