The unit is powered by a 12 v sealed battery. The unit will power up for a couple of seconds then shut off. While on the screen has a large area that is darkly cloudy. I rotate 2 batteries and they both are charged. The company said it won't repair the unit simply because it is older than 5 years old. I think the unit is 6 years old.
