I have the same problem with the monitor going black after sometime.
i found if you put fan on the edge. it will keep cool and not go black.
I had some time this weakend to open the monitor to inspect. the capaitors
and found them all ok. i put the monitor back together and now the monitor
comes on white and displays nothing. opened it backup and inspected all connection and the look good, HELP

Open the back cover again and check the AD board connection it a wide flat cable, one end plugged to the panel with tape. Check that for lose connection, used your 2 thumbs put it all the way in... Now plugged all the cable in... tilt it up and turned on... if still come on with white screen...then you need a new AD board instead.
