Check the instrument panel fuse. when the vehicle is completely turn off and timed out. mine will draw about 200mA of current... I suspect the IP has fractured solder joints from GM using lead free solder, it does not hold up to vibration well at all. right now i'm removing the fuse when off... reflowing solder connections with real tin lead solder... so far I got my transmission indicator lights.
