I'm installing my previously owned 2496 in a new pc...intel core2-duo XP home. I have disabled the onboard audio, removed the card, uninstalled 2496 drivers, re-installed newest drivers, reloaded card instantiated card. The Control Panel icon appears in icon panel but when I click it the message says "Cannot Open". I tried installing card first as well. still nothing. Please advise.
