M-audio 410 problem with vista
Ive got vista now, downloaded the soundcard driver for vista and successfully installed it. The problem now is recording from line-in, mics, instruments and turntables.. The sound is crackling bad and i cant figure it out...? i havent had any problems with this before, on XP so I dont know if i should install XP again or if its a way to fix this. Maybe there is a better driver i can download or something.. I appreciate any tip. Thanks

How old is your system
Vista was made for newer pc's and still has some glitches.
Also can slow pc down if they are not compatible
You may want your xp back on
Like I said vista still has a lot of glitches
yes I would put my xp back on
vista is probably not compatible with the soundcard in your pc.
I usually tell people if there system did'nt come with vista don't put it on
Also make sure you know what your video audio and network drivers are before returning to xp
just in case you lose them
to find out wht they are
right click my computer
properties
hardware
and then device
you'll find all your driver types there
if you happen to notice your audio has ? or ! mark you may want to click and update driver to see if that was the problem if problem still persist get rid of vista
