M4A785TD-M EVO Motherboard will not boot
I turn the power on at the back of the tower and the computer starts to boot for around two seconds then shuts down. It will not turn back on unless I remove and return power, however the same problem reoccurs. I have compatible memory and an AMD Phenom II 550 processor installed. My HDD has XP MCE with SP3 however it does not even got to turning on the monitor before it shuts down.

Hi
From what you are descrbing it sounds like a PSU issue
Please try the following
1) Remove all the wires from the PC
2) Press and hold the power button in for about 10 seconds (yes i know there is no power :) )
3) Plug everything back in and retry, if it still fails the Power supply will need to be changed
The Power supply can be swapped out at any decent PC repair shop and is quite cheap to do
I hope this helps
Well I was playing a game use the windows xp OS my pc blue screened so I decided it was time to upgrade So I upgraded to windows 7 64 bit im running a Tara bit hd plenty or ram and phenom 2 processor a corsair 650 powers supply I have over 1200 bucks invested in the pc and it wont work im so frustrated with it when when I boot the system everything starts but I have no video the monitor is fine untill the pc starts then it goes off and will not comeback on untill you reboot the machine
Make sure both power cables from the power supply are plugged into the MOBO, then double check and make sure all power connections have been made to your video cards.
