machine ready light won't go away
The 'clean machine/machine ready' light won't go away even after going through the entire cleaning process twice. At the end of the cleaning cycle it says to 'press rinse' instead of 'empty grounds' like the manual says it should. After I hit the 'rinse' button, it immediately returns to the 'clean machin/machine ready' message. This same thing repeated after cleaning a second time. It also repeated after unplugging the unit for 12 hours.

Have experienced the same problem for the last nine months. Was finally able to solve it today by following this guide: http://www.wholelattelove.com/articles/jura_capresso_cleaning_guide.cfm
Having cleaned the shower screen I ran the regular cleaning cycle and now the display indiucates "Ready" as it should do.
Having same issue. Spoke to service @Jura. Said it could be computer problem or very dirty inside (where you cannot get access). Would need to return to Jura in PA for service/repair (postage paid from Jura) but quoted $265.00. They could not tell if my machine was in warranty except by sending a receipt (so I guess registration doesn't matter.)
Twice now my solution to remove the clean machine light was; to go through the whole clean cycle (even though it still says ready/clean after I was done), following the clean cycle i powered the machine off and unplugged it for about 30 seconds. Plug it back in and turn it back on. It will not say heating or press rinse only ready/clean then follow the cleaning instructions.
I had the cleaning cycle problem with my S95 for 2 years. I eventually solved it by simply turning off the machine before turning it back on to start the cleaning cycle. No problem since! The service centre kept telling me I must be doing something wrong but could not suggest what it was. Graham Humphries
