Magellan 3200 GPS is frozen on the startup screen
My Magellan Maestro 3200 was working fine one day and quit working the next. It will power on, but freezes on the screen that reads Magellan.
I have tried resetting it and still nothing happens. No icons, no touch screens, no sounds, it just stays on the initial startup screen forever. I have done everything the Magellan web site suggested, short of sending it in for repairs. The unit is still under warranty.
I was able to get to the boot menu, but do not know how or where to get the system software to re-install it. The Magellan web site was of little help and I hate to send the unit in for repair if I can just reload the operating system and get it back online. Is there a software patch for this problem?
