Magellan Maestro 3250 wont power from car charger. Get message screen that says unit is connected to computer via usb port, and to see instructions in computer program. Will not let you back out of that screen. Unit will charge, but not operate using the car charger. Have tried other chargers with same results. What gives?

Hi, as I have been in the situtaion with many electronic devices before I know how frustraing it can be when the car charger doesn't work any more. For every one out there reading this post if this happen to you again take the car charger portion that you put in the lighter for a charge, the part the goes in will unscrew, check the fuse. 99% of the time that fuse has blown and that is the cause of the unit not getting a charge, if replacing the fuse does not work the it is a bad unit and you will have to get another gps.
