My gps does not start up any more. i was checking for new updates because we have had a lot of construction in our area. i was down loading a new update and read that you should remove your sim card before doing this. so while downloading i removed the batteries and pulled the sim card. now it will not start at all. i read in my manual if it gets locked up hold down menu and press power. i have done this many times and at best i can get the light to start but then it shuts down. help! i hope i did not damage my gps. i need to use it starting 9/10/08.
please help if you can? i dont want to spend the money on a new one.
