I have a Magellan Meridian Platinum. It has no physical damage. I pushed the wrong button at the wrong time and now it will not power on. Back when this happened, 2005, I was told my Magellan (Thales) that I had to send it to them for them to reprogram it. It's a software problem. I cannot hook it up to my computer and I even have a Magellan firmware upgrade. But I cannot connect to it because the unit has to be on to connect to the computer and the GPS will not turn on. Is this a tough fix or what?
