I have a Magic Sing ED18000. I haven't use the unit in more than 5 mos. We try to use it last night, the Mic went ON and functioning properly but when I'm about to use the remote, the remote control doesn't work. I tried putting new batteries on the remote but still doesn't work even pressing the ON/OFF there is no response on the unit.

So what I did is I pressed the ON/OFF switch of the base manually to turn it OFF while the MIC is ON, then I pressed the ON/OFF switch of the base again to turn it ON again. After this the remote control works but the big problem is the MIC doesn't turn ON this time, I tried putting new batteries and turning ON/OFF the base manually but the MIC still don't want to turn ON.

Can you help me solve this problem.
