The problem is in ssb. [scale board] I call it the signal board. But briefly part, location 1H00 [color crystal] PN#823827736071 needs replaced. And caps locations 2H08 and 2H09,PN#223886975478 need replaced. Hope this will help you...these are surface mount repairs that require skills!!!!
sorry, I only meant to comment on this solution because this is where I got the info that allowed me to fix mine. See my 'solution' below.sorry, I only meant to comment on this solution because this is where I got the info that allowed me to fix mine. See my 'solution' below.
All the information is here as you read the comments. My personal guess would be in the neighborhood of $150 plus. Replacing the board can double the repair price. I replaced only the 27.000MHz resonator at location 1H00 with a 27.000MHz crystal oscillator (digikey p/n: XC1672CT-ND) and it has been working great for a week now. I bought three different ones to see which would fit best because I couldn't find any that were near the same dimensions as the original resonator. This one was just long enough to contact the edges of the solder pads. I did not replace the capacitors 2H08 and 2H09 because they were not labeled on this paticular board.
