My Mahindra Scorpio Crde 2.6 SLX hasn't been driven for many months and now when I drive it, there appears no pick-up, i.e. when I depress the accelerator pedal it takes a while for the rpm to climb on the tachometer. There appears a delay in reaching the optimum rpm of the engine and hence it has to be driven at lower gears for longer periods of time which has caused the engine to stop responding (dying). Resulting in overheating of the engine. Recently after having driven it for a 6-9 kms (over 5 flyovers) it stopped running, had to leave the engine switched off for an hr and then it was drivable again. Any clues on what the issues and solutions might be?
