Maintenance question due to heating up
I've lost my book and I would like to know about the matinentance of the moter. Does something need greased? What happened was that it got hot as if it wasn't turning properly. Granted we went from a 14 foot boat to a 14 foot deep v but there shouldn't be that much difference in the performance of the motor. This is why I am wondering if something needs lubricated in this motor.

what this indicate is that the motor is self need some service ,
what you will need to do to fix the problem is to unscrew the system (open it)with care then service the part by applying oil (greased) on the bole joint properly then couple it back has if was with care the problem is solve
please if you did not have the tools to do this your self then you will have to invite a technician in other to avoid more damage on the motor , good luck .
