Makes thumping noise without input from receiver
I had the system shut off fow a while and plugged it back in and turned power off. even without the lead from the amp the speaker thumps randomly

So no wires plugged into it at all? Sounds like a cold solder joint on a board or a bad connection inside the amplifier.
