Makita cordless dril Model # 6213D 12volt
Alright the deal is that the motor seems to be struggling to run at optimum speed in the low or high position. I checked batteries and they get a full charge. I checked the brushes and cleaned them but still no difference, all I can think now is that the motor itself is worn out.
What do you think it could be.
When you pull the trigger on the drill it starts up very slowly and runs at maybe 500rpm max.

I used to pull these drills to bits for a living and all i can say is that if the brushes are intact and not too worn then it should run fine without cleaning the brushes. chances are that the motor has worn out.
