Many Problems with Samson G-Track or not?
Hello. I just bought myself a SAMSON G track
I have a few things that are problems for me that I hope can be resolved but not totally sure if they are actual hardware problems found in the Gtrack....or at least if its normal or not.
If anyone can help that would be great!
1) Knob with ''''mic'' cannot hear ANY gain or even the microphone until its 90 percent turned all the way up where t proceeds to turn up too high.
2) Audible and annoying static when ''Mic is turned 92 percent the way up
3) Anytime I try to record I hear an audable whistling/hum in the background.
Should I bring it back tomorrow and get a new one or are these problems fixable/are they normal.

I bought a SAMSON G Track and had similar problems. It would not record sound unless the mic knob was 90% or more and then the sound would have a lot of background noise/whine. I spent several hours reading the solutions on this site and nothing work so I returned it. They sent me a new one and I no longer have this problem. My advice? Just return or exchange it. I am still having problems recording it and having it play back in stereo though.
Hi. I dunno if yur using pc or mac but with a mac yu need to adjust the mic settings on the comp. For the static its probably your set up or as i said in another guys problem, the usb cable given with it is **** so try using another one from a printer or wtv to see if that makes a difference for you. Also if you are recording just through the mic i find that it seems to only work well when the input is on line and not inst/mic. Hope this can be of some help. Its a great piece of kit once you get it working well.. Goodluck
