There is no audio. I put in a known working tape (I have another deck to test the tapes), select all the right settings, switch to "TAPE" monitoring, turn up the volume, press play and there is no audio. The "SOURCE" monitoring works fine, there's audio and the VU meter is very responsive on that mode. The belts and the capstan seem OK. I can record audio with the PMD221 and then listen to it on my other deck, so it records well and good. Maybe the Playback Amp or the Play head?
