Audio Players & Recorders - Marshall - MXL990 Professional Microphone
Despite the fairly low count of semiconductors used in your mike, you have managed to find a thermally sensitive serial number. If you want to confirm this, stop by at an electronics supply store (if in the US, Radio Shack for example) and pick up a can of 'freeze spray.'
When your microphone starts to misbehave again, spray the housing (not directly into the diaphragm) and see if it comes back to life. Give it 30-40 seconds since the innards will only feel the cold after some lagtime. If it does, I suspect the cost of repairing it is greater than the ~$55 US I have seen advertised for this model. You can always reserve this one for winter outdoor events. - (I know, it's not funny.)
