Maudio 192 output
What inputs on my mixing desk should i use for the audio outs from the 192 sound card ?
I've tried everything.
I had been going from monitor outs directly to monitors without problem.
with thanks

Hey I've just purchased an M Audio 192, Windows XP; with only a very very quiet signal issuing from either my Monitor Outs or the Main Output to my Stereo speakers; I've even tried putting it through my little powered Turntable Preamp, which amplified it louder, but it also sounded very bass-heavy and not correctly amplified... So it just has a quiet signal... The Drivers seem to be installed correctly and the Mixer Software shows the signal, I can turn the quiet signal up and down normally through the mixer. I've tried two different cables and different inputs on my Stereo Receiver. Even tried headphones. Do I need some kind of preamp hardware to correctly use the card?
Try the output of your sound card with normal stereo speakers. if that doesn't work u'll need to check the driver of the sound card or replace it.
Whats the operating system that you are using?
You need the plug/cable that inputs to your mixing desk and outputs from your sound card.
Also test the cord the same way
haha beat you to that idea suben ;)
Um i think it could have something to do with the installation of certain pprograms or dirvers.
Its unlikely but donload the trial of regitary mechanic, its fixed so many problems for me that you wouldnt thinkrelated.
Also go to device manager and tell us what it says for the sound drivers, try giving them an update
