Maxim toaster my husband doesn't believe me when I tell him that the instructions say to use the knob (turn to 1) to pop up toast, rather than pushing the lever up. Do you know what I'm saying?

Always best to follow the instruction manual, no matter how whacky it may sound. After all, they know their product better than anyone else :)
