Maxtor External hard drive
It is recognized as online in computer management but no icon appears in my computer. I have tried to access it on two separate computers with the same result. Any suggestions?

Try to rightclick in computer management on the disk and change "driver letter and paths" change it to X: or something. or you need to right click and creat partition. is it a new disk ?
