First check filters in cold inlet hose & inside cold inlet valve. If ok more than likely cold water valve is burnt out. If you cannot select cold water from the control panel then the switch is faulty.
The part that controls incoming water flow is, WPL 22003834. Cost of the part is $70.00-ish. To see it look on the back where the hot cold water lines connect, that is the part. To this device are four electrical connectors (pull push type) and a hose inside the washer. It could be that device is the problem. For some folks that see a puddle of water in their washer this part needs replacing.
