Meade ETX90 will not tilt; Motor runs, but gears just grind
Before tearing it apart, I would like to know what I am getting into. Is there a repair manual available out there somewhere? Are these gears relatively 'cheaply' made plastic gears, and can parts be purchased for it? If so, where? Thanks in advance.

I have not been able to find a repair manual anywhere. Nor have i been able to find any repair parts. Dr. Clay Sherrod at the Arkansas sky observatory offers a repair service that is apparently so good that it will increase the value of your scope, it is however expensive. here is the link.
