if you other PCs and toys all work with your router now then the TV will work instantly if you just use the ethernet cat5/6 cable, to the router, doing TV setups. if using wifi (gawd forbid) then you must know your WIFI credentials, if not fail.
what is your ISP (means internet service provider) dial up, sure no. ASDL land line modem, TV internet cable modem>? FIOS to home (fiber to home and matching ISP provided modem) Hugesnet.com (satellite) 3/4/5G from same Verzion. etc. WLAN connected.
