Miele coffee system CVA 2660 is showing fault #10 while I descale and won't let me finish the program. I restart the program by turning off the system but I get the same fault message after about 20 minutes into descaling

Hi Linda, could you tell me where do I find the waterpump in the machine? I know it’s on the backside. But the first or the second pump? I bought a ULKA E type EX5 spare pump. Could I easily replace it?
F10 is a water intake fault. The are several possibilities: the pump may be defective, a piece of lime scale may have blocked a pipe, the water tank might be faulty. Most likely is the pump.
