Miele CVA6805, coffee dispenser stuck in highest position, it never moves and there is no menu item under settings for adjusting the dispenser (I seen it mentioned here, for turning it on or off)
Unit is from early 2016. Opening the door, and removing the cover, reveals that the motor which has a part number I am unable to find anywhere online, and says something like saia 90ohm, looks fine upon visual inspection. Removing the "latch" at the bottom of the "spindle" the motor is attached to, allows me to bring the dispenser down, so I can take it out, and give it a clean, but it makes no difference.

Defective brew unit drive.
Replace it and you are good to go.
It's always recommended to replace brew unit also.
Greetings from the Miele guy
To make this a lot easier for you, you should find a Miele service senter and have them read out the fault memory. That could spare you a lot of money and time
I am in contact with Miele now, but the unit is out of warranty (3 years old), so getting a service tech. out will be very expensive; Hence why I am trying to diagnose myself first. If it's a 15$ stepper motor, paying Miele 500$/hr. is silly.
The machine has done about 2000 cups, and I paid 150$ for the new brew unit on e-bay last night, so that is fine to have in reserve.
Thank you for all your help; If you're ever in Copenhagen, let me know, beer (and maybe coffee!) is on me ;)
